Honda NSX sold out – Type-R orders now open

Orders for the NSX have now closed
2016 Honda NSX

For the past two years Honda dealers in the UK have been accepting pre-orders for the upcoming 2015 NSX and the Japanse car maker have now closed the order books in the UK for the hybrid sports car.

Buyers obviously have a lot of faith in the company and their products, as the NSX has not even being shown in public yet and nobdy except those at Honda have driven it.

Furthermore,  while the NSX prototype was being tested on the Nurbergring earlier this year, it burst into flames – but that hasn’t stopped 100 British buyers putting down a £5000 deposit to pick up one of the first cars – which is expected to land on these shores in 2016.

Buyers and interested parties alike will have to wait until Detroit’s 2015 North American International Auto Show in January to see the finished production model.

The car will be powered by a twin-turbo V6 and electric motor hybrid powertrain and Honda it will rival the likes of Ferrari 458, Nissan GT-R and Audi R8.

While you might be too late to preorder an NSX, Honda have now opened orders for the new Civic Type-R.
Dealerships in the UK are now taking orders for the new turbocharged Type-R.

A £3000 deposit being all that is required from buyers to be one of the first to get behind the wheel of the hot hatch in the UK – which is expected to hit showrooms in September 2015.
