A brand new car show is set to kick off next week, The Classic Car Show will be hosted by international supermodel and racing driver, Jodie Kidd, and founding member of Top Gear and Britain’s most renowned classic car journalist, Quentin Willson.
The show will air in the UK for the first time on Thursday 5th February (Channel 5, 7pm) and will feature some of the world’s most prestigious and glamorous cars with A-list contributions from the likes of David Gandy, Bruno Senna, David Coulthard and Sir Stirling Moss. Everyday classics will also be heavily featured in the series.
Other segments on the show are said to include Jodie Kidd in a Jaguar XK120 at the Mille Miglia, Quentin Willson driving Keith Richards’ Ferrari 246 GT Dino on the French Riviera, Derek Bell in a Porsche 962 at Le Mans, a 1964 Brabham BT11 at the Monaco Historique and Bruno Senna putting 10 classics through their paces on the racetrack. Other celebrity contributions come from Tinie Tempah, Daisy Lowe, Graham Norton, Jessie J, Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon and Peter Jones.
Also, Aston Martin have just announced today that they will be providing the show with a once in a lifetime prize; the opportunity to own one of its sports cars. At the end of the series, one lucky viewer will have the opportunity to own the keys an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
Marek Reichman Chief Creative Officer said: “Aston Martin’s rich heritage of world-class sports cars is clearly a great subject for this exciting new series, and I’m sure the lucky recipient of the V8 Vantage – whoever he or she may be – will be thrilled to join our select band of sports car owners worldwide.”
