If you’re into cars then chances are you’ve probably heard of Magnus Walker. The Brit who now resides state-side (down town LA to be precise) is a well known Porsche tuner and all around car enthusiast who is lucky enough to have his own personal collection of air cooled Porsches.
The Porsche 930 Turbo is a car that has captured the imagination of many, including Magnus Walker. After he managed to acquire several early Turbos his search for the much sought after 1975 model continued. His search took him on-line and he ended up turning to Autohaus Hamilton in Australia to help track down the owner of a 1975 right hand drive example – one of only fifteen RHD examples ever made.
Surprisingly, this car isn’t just his first RHD Porsche but the first right hand drive vehicle he has ever owned. He’s owned Porsches since his 20s, but they were all LHD models.
In this video E Garage catch up with Magnus in the canyons, along with the current 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo, to compare just how much has changed in the last 40 years for this iconic car.
