Nissan have announced that the 2015 Nissan GT-R will go on sale today at all Nissan dealerships throughout Japan.
Since its release in 2007, the Nissan GT-R has offered a high performance super sports car capable of beating supercars for half the money you normally expect to pay for this type of performance, embodying Nissan’s commitment to “innovation that excites”.
Hiroshi Tamura the GT-R’s Chief Product Specialist says that every year the new GT-R model is about addition, rather than change.
For the latest edition of this super sports car Nissan have been working on combining the racing capabilities of the car with the Grand Touring aspect – which they hope will help the car appeal to an even wider audience.
To improve on the outgoing model they have focused on two key areas; the performance of the suspension and the tyres – as well as improving the drive train to improve traction.
“The GT-R’s multi-performance character allows the driver to enjoy the full depths of the GT-R’s capabilities, whether navigating corners of a winding mountain road, simply cruising on the open highway or even running errands on neighbourhood streets.”
According to Nissan they will never stop improving upon the performance of the GT-R, which is their own benchmark.
