The pursuit of speed is something the human race has become obsessed with and this is partiularly true when it comes to cars – with the fastest land speed record in a car being one of the msot coveted titles that exists.
In this video interview from the Guinness World Records, Andy Green, OBE, the current land speed record holder, and Richard Noble, OBE, land speed record holder 1983-1997, discuss what it takes to reach a cool 763.035 mph.
They also talk briefly about their current efforts with the Bloodhound SSC team in setting a new landspeed record.
