Supercar Sunday

MJW_1979

A few Sundays back I got to take part in a supercar track day at Nutts Corner.
There were various cars to choose from on the day and I ended up driving them all.
The cars present on the day were a Porsche 997 GT3, an Aston Martin DB9, a supercharged Aeriel Atom, a Nissan R35 GT-R,
a Ferrari 430, a Lamborghini Gallardo LP-560 and a Mclaren MP4-12-C.
I have to say it was a really great day out, the sun was shining all day which meant I got perfect driving conditions and was able to fully open up on the track.
The car I found most disappointing on the day was the Aston Martin DB9. The noise from the engine sounded fantastic but the car felt dead on the track compared to the other cars that were present and the steering and general driving experience wasn’t as involving.
My favourite car to drive on the day was the MP4-12C, it was nothing short of spectacular. It just ticked all of the boxes, with its menacing looks, being surrounded by carbon fibre, its speed and handling were exceptional and at the end of the day it just left me yearning for more.

Here are some pics from the day…
