A man from Tennessee, in the U.S. has listed his huge collection of hot wheels on internet auction site eBay to pay for his two sons college tuition.
There is at least 11,916 cars in the collection that have been accumulated over the last 4 decades.
The car obsessed seller said he invested at least $75,000 on this collection “I was obsessed with collecting every single car Mattel ever issued.” He said that each car included in the sale is brand new in unopened packaging (with the exception of the promotional cars that came without packaging).
The lot has a buy it now price of $60,000/£38,000, however there is an option to make an offer. With some extremely rare hot wheels cars fetching up to $10,000 alone, this could be quite the buy for for a toy collector who has the time and money to sort through the huge collection and find the rarest models.
