Magician Steven Brundage with his Rubix Cube

Police pulled over Steven Brundage in upstate New York after he was caught driving over the speed limit late in the late hours of Saturday night.

According to the magician he was doing 42 in a 30mph zone when he found himself being pulled over by police. While officers were speaking to the performer about the offence, they noticed his magic props on the seat behind him.

After revealing he was a magician, the officer asked him to perform a trick and if he impressed he would let Brundage off with the ticket.

The Saratoga performer decided he would do a trick from his routine involving a Rubik’s Cube.

He told the officers he would complete the puzzle in whatever time they set for him. The officer joked: ‘I can’t say like one second, that’s not going to happen.’

They agree on 15 seconds to complete the cube but Brundage takes 20 seconds.

Despite not completing the cube in the agreed time the officer’s are still impressed but then Brundage takes things to the next level when says he can complete the cube in just one second like the officer originally joked.

He muddles up all the sides and throws the cube into the air and to the officers amazement it lands complete.

After mixing the cube up once more, he dazzles the police further by throwing it behind his back and over his shoulder, and again its complete.

‘I’m glad to say I left without a ticket.’ Said Brundage.
