This years Geneva Motor Show played host to a number of important car premières, one of which was the Bugatti Veyron ‘La Finale’. The car was created  in order to celebrate the end of an era of the Veyron production.

When the Bugatti Veyron was first announced at the end of the nineties, many people were sceptical about a car with a claimed 1,000 PS, a top speed in excess of 400 km/h and able to accelerate from 0 to 100 in less than three seconds. And rightly so, as before the Veyron this had never been done before. The idea that you could produce a super sports car with this level of performance while remaining controllable and drivable was unthinkable – however Bugatti managed to make the impossible possible.

Ten years after production first began on this iconic car, the 450th and final ever edition of the Veyron has been produced. It now features an 8L W16 engine, with 1,183BHP and can reach a record-breaking top speed of 267.8mph. To mark this achievement, the supercar creator has released this video of the Bugatti production in Molsheim, France, showcasing the process of manufacturing the last of its kind, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse “La Finale”.
